Amitabha Saxena
Amitabha has spent twenty-five years thinking about strategy at the scale of telecom infrastructure. As Group Head of Business Strategy & Planning at Bharti Airtel during the years it was reshaping Indian telecom, then leading India business operations for Nortel Networks, then heading Strategy & Planning for Customer Solutions at Huawei India, he has lived inside the kind of corporate-strategy decisions that make or break multinational expansion.
In 2021 he co-founded Match My [Talent] as Chief Business Officer — an API-first infrastructure layer for India’s $7B+ media and entertainment talent market, with 40,000+ verified artists on the platform and a Pre-Series A round in motion. The earlier Woofyz venture and an ICRA chapter that took him into telecom regulatory work for the Government of Sri Lanka sit behind it; together they describe a career that has moved from advising governments on telecom policy to building the infrastructure layer that policy will eventually have to govern.
