Vinay Kanchan

Vinay has spent thirty years getting people’s minds to take flight — through humour, storytelling, juxtaposition and a deep appreciation of how creative thought actually works. He is also the author of three published books — one a top-ten Amazon bestseller in Sport.

His thirteen years inside agencies took him through Lintas, Mudra, Everest, Triton, Network and finally Rediffusion as Business Head in Mumbai, working on Tata Sky, Tata Motors, Onida, Franklin Templeton and the Colors channel launch among others. Since April 2008 he has run his own practice across three domains: brand storytelling (through his Day Zero Sessions methodology, conducted with companies including Amazon Pay, Aegon Religare and Angel Broking); innovation catalysis (through his Cracking the Da Vinci Code “playshop,” delivered across HP, Capgemini, Sony Entertainment TV, IL&FS and a long list of others); and authorship — three books in print, one of which made Amazon’s top ten in Sport within seventy-two hours of release, another of which DNA named one of the top fourteen management books of 2014.

In 2018 he was recognised as one of YourStory’s 100 Emerging Voices. At Flibbr® he brings humour, storytelling and lateral thinking to engagements — the bench’s reminder that when we have a smile and a tale, we can rarely fail.
